A metal structure company in Hungary is bought and the company ECOTHERM Hungaria Kft. is established. The costs for the production of oil separators and components are slashed as a result. The production facilities space and the know-how of the Hungarian personnel bring significant capacity reserves for future expansion.

The company ECOTHERM Austria GmbH is established. Products that are the technological global leaders are now distributed direct in numerous countries worldwide.
Leading hotel groups are now putting their trust in “Ecotherm Economizer” one after the other for their hot water supply. Our solution brings unequalled savings of 30% for energy, 90% for installation costs plus space saving of over 100 m² compared with the old facilities.

Establishment of ECOTHERM Mexico SA de CV . The sales office markets ECOTHERM Economizer for hotels and hospitals and also heat exchangers for swimming pools.

The computer controlled test bench at Haizingerstrasse is built. By using this
test bench it will be possible to develop new heat exchanger variants, as well as to deal with the technical design for customer specific solutions. In the course of this approx. 65,000 temperature, performance and pressure measurements were made on a fully automatic basis. Special software was developed with which it is possible to precisely calculate hot water preparation facilities and coordinate the dimensions for them within minutes.

The company decides to concentrate exclusively on the development and production of stainless steel products.

The twelve-sided (dodecagonal) administration building in the Karlingerstrasse is built. In addition a passivation plant for the final treatment of the stainless steel products is constructed.

The first stainless steel heat exchanger with the revolutionary free floating turbulator rods is developed. A number of patents are applied for and issued for this invention.

Specialization begins on stainless steel processing and the stainless steel equipment construction.
The development of an own product range in the area of hot water preparation is started.

Purchase of a development site in the Karlinger Strasse on the outskirts of Hartkirchen and construction of an 800 m² production hall.

Construction of a works hall with a 400 m² production area. The company is focussed during this period on steel construction, aluminium portals construction and special custom-made products for industry in Upper Austria.

Following establishment in 1960 metalworking, repairs to agricultural machinery and blacksmith work were the tasks largely carried out by the two man metal specialist team in the old village smithy.

The firm was developed into the dynamic and innovative enterprise it is today as a result of a wealth of inventive ideas, a clear focus on quality thinking plus a great deal of hard work.

The blacksmiths providing services for horses and horse-drawn wagons was established well over a century ago in 1880 by the great grandfather of the current CEO and proprietor Ing. Herbert Bremstaller junior. This smithy had become an important part of life in the centre of Hartkirchen by the time of the Second World War.

The company can look back proudly on a long tradition of 4 generations under family management.
